In short: GuideSaathi is only a platform that connects travellers with independent tour guides. We are not a tour operator or travel agent, we do not employ the guides, and we are not a party to any agreement between a traveller and a guide. Each traveller and each guide is responsible for their own decisions, conduct and safety.

By using this website, sending an enquiry, creating an account, booking a guide or registering as a guide, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use GuideSaathi.

1. What GuideSaathi does

GuideSaathi lists tour guides and lets travellers find them, send enquiries, chat and request bookings. That is all we do. We do not provide tours, transport, accommodation, tickets or any other travel service, and we do not set or collect guides' prices.

2. Guides are independent

Every guide listed on GuideSaathi is an independent person who offers their own services. Guides are not our employees, agents or partners. The tour, its plan, price, timing, route and quality are agreed directly between the traveller and the guide, and are the guide's responsibility.

3. What our checks mean, and what they do not

Where a guide's profile shows a badge such as "Govt licensed", "ID verified" or "Police verified", it means our team looked at the document the guide uploaded and it appeared valid when we checked it. It does not mean we guarantee the guide's identity, skills, behaviour, honesty or safety, or that the document is still valid later. Guides without a badge have not completed that check. Please use your own judgement before meeting anyone.

4. Payments are between you and the guide

Nothing is paid on GuideSaathi. Any fee, advance, tip or refund is agreed and paid directly between the traveller and the guide. We are not responsible for any payment, non-payment, overcharging, refund or money dispute between them.

5. Your responsibilities

Travellers are responsible for choosing a guide, agreeing the plan and price, their own belongings, health, travel insurance, and following local laws and site rules.

Guides are responsible for holding a valid licence and any permits their work needs, giving true information on their profile, the services they provide, their own conduct, and following the law, including any tax on their earnings.

Everyone must give true information, be respectful, and not use GuideSaathi for anything unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or misleading.

6. Limitation of our liability

Because we only connect people, GuideSaathi, its owners and its team are not liable for anything that happens between a traveller and a guide, before, during or after a tour. This includes, for example, injury, illness, accident, loss or theft of belongings, delay, cancellation, no-show, a poor experience, misbehaviour, fraud, or any money lost. Any claim about a tour must be made against the guide or traveller concerned, not against GuideSaathi.

The website is provided "as is". We try to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be error-free or always online, and we are not liable for any loss caused by using it or being unable to use it.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

7. Reviews, profiles and messages

Profiles are written by the guides themselves, and reviews by travellers after a completed booking. They are their authors' own views, not ours. We may hide reviews, remove profiles, or suspend accounts that break these terms or that we believe put others at risk.

8. Staying safe

Meet your guide in a public place, keep your plans shared with someone you trust, do not pay large amounts in advance, and keep your valuables with you. In an emergency, call the police on 112. If a guide or traveller behaves badly, please tell us so we can act on their account.

9. If you misuse the platform

If you break these terms or the law while using GuideSaathi, you agree to be responsible for the result, and to cover any loss or claim that GuideSaathi faces because of it.

10. Disputes and law

Disputes about a tour are between the traveller and the guide. We may try to help, but we are not obliged to settle them. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using GuideSaathi after a change means you accept the updated terms.
